Colm O'Laoi

Born in Dublin, 1969

I was born and raised on the east coast of Ireland in the picturesque fishing village of Howth, County Dublin. In 2011 I moved to a pituresque village on the east coast of England with my wife and my two children.

I spent most of my youth either in or on the water so my passion for all things nautical comes as no great surprise. My interest in photography lay dormant throughout most of my youth, probably because I was too busy living life to stop and photograph it, but there was always a spark.

I really enjoyed it when I occasionally dabbled and when I finally bought myself a decent camera that spark became a flame.

I'm still learning and I'm still experimenting. I've moved from taking pictures to photography and digital art, but that fire is still growing.

Who knows where this will end, but I'm loving the journey. I hope you like it too
